I’m a counselor only because of the wonderful experiences I’ve had working with and growing from my own therapists. I like to use your sense of humor, your anecdotes, and your positive qualities as a way to make sessions not only educational, but even fun. I strive to make an inclusive environment anyone can feel welcome in.

Who I Work With

My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming. I believe everyone deserves a therapeutic space where they can show up fully as themselves, without having to explain or defend their identity. I’ve specifically worked with trans folks at every level of transitioning and assisted in support.

I'm also neurodivergent-affirming, with 10+ years experience supporting clients with ADHD and autism. I take a strengths-based approach that respects different ways of thinking, communicating, and processing the world - rather than treating neurodivergence as something to “fix.”

My work is grounded in cultural responsiveness. I recognize that culture, race, and lived experience shape mental health in real and important ways, and I strive to understand each client within their own context.

I welcome clients from all religious and spiritual backgrounds, as well as those who are secular or non-religious. Your beliefs (or lack thereof) are not something you need to set aside in our work together - they're part of the whole picture, and I meet you where you are.
